iEduNote (2019) define organisation behaviours as inclusive of organisation setting, interface of human behaviours and an entity which link human behaviours and an organisation practice. In line with CIPD HR Map 2018, both organisation and human behaviours represent core knowledge as a culture and behaviours (CIPD, 2020). An appreciation and influencing an entity and human behaviours is critical to develop appropriate culture and work environment.
Human Behaviour Theory– These are most popular theories. Its core assumption is that people are conditioned to work in a particular way. For instance, Belbin and Tuckman Theory of team roles is applicable. For the people professionals, human behaviours understanding is critical.
Motivation Theories– These theory inform that to achieve a particular goal or expectations, employees must be appropriately motivated. This include a theory such as Maslow and Hertzberg which evidence the higher the productivity, the more profits are incurred.

Human Behaviour Theory (Tuckman Theory)
Individuals- To a person, there is a possibility for tracking overall process from starting to conclusion. This is through being engaged as a leader in their operations. For instance, I was engaged in establishing a remote working system in my organisation after COVID-19 pandemic emerged. In my position, I used Tuckman to lead the entire team.
Groups- As a leader, structuring and direction of overall strategy was well noted and setting appropriately guiding the relevant stakeholders interests. For instance, during change which entailed integrating a flexible working system, the different groups were essential for ensuring mitigation of negative problems or frustrations in their set goals, role and progression.
Teams- A relevant strategy is established for organisation culture and set behaviours and noted to be self-centred and requiring limited progress. For instance, working as a team, I was in a position of performing maximum with a highly performing team set.
Motivational Theories (Maslow Theory)
Individuals– In line with the Maslow findings, various people are impacted. Individuals achieve self-actualisation, high-level esteem, socially, safety and psychologic. In my current organisation which operate in healthcare sector, through self-actualisation, facilitation of business in achieving high-level excellence with profitability attained.
Groups– For a group setting, this is applied to establish level of effective motivation and making sure needs are achieved. In a group setting, various members leverage on different needs through adoption of this theory hierarchically leads to entire needs achievement.
Teams– In a team, managers and the rest of team professionals work collaboratively to achieve entire organisation objectives. For instance, grouping teams in various categories inform fulfilment of their needs.
Organisational Behaviour Theory (Classic Leadership/system)
Individuals- People leverage on commanding entire individuals in their practice. They ensure embracing autocratic model for ensuring they are executing their functions with success.
Groups- Groups ensure success in performing their roles through a guidance by management. By embrace of relevant group hierarchical, entire roles are appropriately set and good management.
Teams– Teams achieve an optimum performance. A case example considered is XXX organisation implementation of remote working through their practice with rewards for the teams and as such good behaviours and process success.
