In the opinion of Gallup (2017), firms are adequately positive to attain 80% of reduced turnover by adopting various L&D techniques. Developing future leaders and managers- By pursuing various L&D initiatives, organizations benefit from more employees who have the necessary empowerment. This is accomplished through using their high level of autonomy, autonomy at high stakes, and trust in their responsibilities. A person’s potential learning needs include the following; Training on a new technology- Employees would need to go through a succession of learning and skill acquisition processes in order for new technologies to be introduced in organizations. HrGuide (2017) states that this could entail learning about the technology deployment procedure and certain adjustments that need to be made within an organization. These requirements are brought on by personnel who don’t know how to utilize the technology. Additionally, this appears when the organization has not been using the technology. Training on a new policy or system- When employees need to learn about best practices, impending changes, and abilities that successfully boost their overall productivity, learning demands arise. Employees can successfully execute the system and policies thanks to training, claim CIF Team (2022). The need was created by employees who failed to follow the rules of the policy that was in place. The policies are intricate and their application necessitates careful thought. Learning demands for the organization occur as a result of; New government legislation- Globally, governments introduce laws that are intended to protect the interests of many stakeholders in an organization. These laws mandate that an organization obtain the necessary skills in order to comprehend their importance within the organization. These appear whenever new law is passed that has an impact on an organization’s performance either directly or indirectly. The legislation would also have an effect on how the organization conducts business. New whole-organisation technology system- A company-wide system that handles personnel data, like Electronic Resourcing Planning, would have an impact on the demand for skill acquisition. These skills are long-lasting and intended to guarantee that the systems successfully absorb these technologies. The need for more education may also be revealed by a lack of cooperation in the system’s execution by the organization.
