Identified Organisation strategy– An example of ADNOC strategy is achieving Net-Zero Carbon emissions by year 2050 (ADNOC, 2024). Vertical Integration– In order for the organisation to achieve the Net-Zero strategy through organisation alignment with senior leaders and strategic practices (ADNOC, 2024). These initiatives include; Strategic Workforce Planning The management teams and people practitioners collaborate towards forecasting future skills demands in achieving Net-Zero emissions. According to CIPD (2024b), this is by guaranteeing compliance of employees with sustainability demands in recruiting employees possessing relevant qualifications. Employees engagement initiatives By coming up with sustainability awareness initiatives, people practice management enhance increased staff engagement to achieve the Net-Zero emission focus. The organisation is hence aligned with the main focus of achieving an organisation objectives. Horizontal Integration– People practice professionals similarly enhance successful development of a harmonious organisation policy and operation role. This is by; Policies development The examples of these policies entail supporting sustainable workplace operations. These include working from home or provision of green transport. By embracing the identified policies, there is a possibility of supporting an entity for success in implementing a strategy. According to CIPD (2023) overall interests of stakeholders are put into account. Capacity Development Initiating L&D strategies in area of sustainability and reduced carbon emissions lead to readiness of staff with success in future based on their needs. For instance, the ADNOC engineers would be engaged with capacity development facilitated in area of green energy and aligned with technical and industrial knowledge aligned with an entity goals/objective (CIPD, 2023a). Horizontal initiatives ensure integration of modifications for sustainable practice, adhere with all policies and laws in environment and holistic interactiveness of HR and the rest of the organisation. |
