Human and business benefits of inclusion, value and fair treatment
In line with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory, employees gaining a feeling of high inclusion and value encounter fair treatment, psychological and self-esteem needs attained and transition to higher levels of self-actualisation in the model. According to Tekke (2019), needs contribute to a feel of belongingness hence improved individual interests and involvement.
In business context, conflicts are significantly reduced with increased turnover as the staff loyalty and commitment is enhanced. Also, according to CIPD (2018), the employees who are involved could be exhibiting increased performance scope and innovativeness eventually impacting how the organisation perform and accrue profits. Hence, creation of a positive workplace environment devoid of prejudices enhance trust-based relations hence conflicts reduction and productivity and morale of employees enhanced.
Human benefits of inclusion, value and Fair Treatment
Taking into account of the McClelland’s 3 Needs Theory, employees assume a feeling of appreciation and welcomed to their organisation improve their enjoyment in working and high morale. The necessity of being affiliated to their organisation is attained upon their acceptability to a team, initiating positive and cooperative-based social interaction. For need for achievement fulfilment, fair treatment of the employees is essential for generating opportunities for improvement hence ensuring hard work amongst the staff. Finally, as identified in Abdullah et al. (2023), power demand is achieved in an event individuals assume a feeling of appreciation and acknowledgement hence increasing morale and how they are motivated. In their integration, they increase level of being motivated and improving employee’s wellbeing and performance.
