May 2024 | I successfully worked on an emotional intelligence course in leadership and management area | I improved my capacity for managing emerging emotions and responded in an empathetic manner to all my colleagues. This enhanced entire team-based morale. My colleagues made an appreciation of how I resolved emerging conflicts. Nevertheless, to balance emotions with objectivity in making decision is a hindrance. As a future best practice, I intend to use emotional intelligence in order to promote teamwork-based practice and at the same time ensure emotions are avoided in actively making decisions. | I intend to take an active part in developing and enhancing emotional intelligence amongst all teams for pursuing mentorship sessions for emotional intelligence knowledge/understanding |
