1.0 Introduction to the Organisation and Existing Quality Management Systems
The selected organisation which is Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), is a leader in the global oil and gas industry with over 40 years of active operations in this industry and headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Abu Dhabi Project, 2018). The organisation operations are anchored on the need to achieve high-level efficiencies through benchmark performance, integration of a balanced scorecard practice in their entire group, and also to align with key performance indicators. Some of the organisation quality management systems include Air Quality Monitoring and Management System (AQMS), which directs the organisation oil and gas operations. There equally exist other quality management systems that are intended to ensure that their oil and gas products are of high quality in their onshore and offshore operations. This is despite the existence of a significant ambiguity on the extent to which an organisation appreciates the contributing factors to the complaints made by its customers. This is also applicable in the case of complaints that need to be resolved by following the total quality management system. In this case, this report evaluates the quality management procedures and systems within ADNOC and implementing the strategic quality change, enhancing the sustainable monitoring of the evaluation systems for assessing the overall outcomes of change.
