Introduction of the Selected Organisation
The selected organisation is the Emirates NBD established in 2007 as a consequence of a merger between the Emirates Bank International (EBI) and the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) (Kumar & Fernandez, 2011). Its significant creativity and innovation are evident from the current growth of the company. It is currently a regional consolidation blueprint for the banking and finance sector as a consequence of its consolidation with the second and largest banks in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this regard, as opposed to the other Banks in UAE, it is the best and leading bank in terms of creativity and innovation. The strategy of the organisation is ensuring that their customers are living a simple life by offering relevant solutions that are essential in assisting them in fulfilling Operations the financial aspirations. Some of the recent developments by the bank include new opportunities in personal banking, private banking, corporate banking, business banking and the priority banking. The achievements in these areas have successfully been harnessed by the capacity of having constant effort in meeting all the requirements of Emirati Efficiently.

Problem Statement/Significance
A contemporary organisation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a critical factor for building on the customer-centric entity. This is a fundamental factor allowing a bank engages in developing their client base and sales capacity. According to Heller Baird and Parasnis (2011), this is informed by the fact that it successfully guides an organisation in managing all their customer interactions. This is one in a manner that enables such an organisation to maximize their profitability for their customers.
In the banking sector where the Emirates NBD operates, a successful CRM leads to successful attainment of improved results for their client base for the sake of appreciating, satisfying and retaining their most profitable clients. Nevertheless, banking institutions are yet to be able to exploit the power of CRM and as such suffer from financial stability issues in their country which is a prerequisite towards the attainment of sustainable growth. In this case, Emirates NBD must excel in their customer service management for retaining their customers and attracting new customers. As noted by Armstrong and Taylor (2014), the problem of managing a successful CRM is complexed by the fact that the high customer’s involvement in the service delivery process in the banks leads to significant variability in the service standards as a critical issue of concern.
Main Aim of the Research
The main aim of this research is to evaluate how the CRM can be used by the banks in building a strong relationship with existing and prospective customers with a strategic target of increasing their profitability and overall market share with Emirates NBD being used as a case study company.
Main Objectives of the Research
