Importance of Work-Life Balance and Legislation Influence

As noted by Armstrong and Taylor (2014), the primary objective of enhancing the promotion of work-life balance concept is achieving the sense of empowerment and their control. However, in Saudi Arabian Authority (SAMA), the work-life balance concept is characterized by different meanings to distinct practitioners. For the employees involved in developing credit information, financial issues and supervision of the insurance companies are often faced with the work-life balance issues. However, after successful regulation and setting clear policies enables the employees to maintain a balance between their professional and personal life hence strengthening the productivity and loyalty of the employees. In regard to the legislation influence, this is at play when the work-life balance is integrated in an entity culture eliciting direct implications on the talent management, recruitment, productivity and development and performance of the business. For the organizations, legislation can be passed to ensure that incase of stress, physical illness, broken relationships and other health issues, an organization takes full charge of the process. In addition, there are legislations that demand employees to be remunerated for extra hour working
