- The levels of absence over 3 years broken down into occupational groups, reasons for absence and the absence rates for each key part of the organisation (e.g. administration production, sales, shop floor workers) – OR
- The outcomes from a recent staff survey indicating the level of job satisfaction and motivation for different occupational groups or departments, the main areas for dissatisfaction.
You then need to do the following:
- Present the data in 3 different visual formats (chart, graph, etc), with appropriate headings, that will help to inform decision making on the topic you have chosen. (AC3.2)
- Analyse and interpret the data, in a narrative that explains your images, and draws conclusions. (AC3.1) (quantities & qualitative)
You may wish to speak to key personnel in your organisation to obtain their views on the recommendations from your research and analysis.

Solution:
In the first graph (proud to work for EDC), it demonstrates that the company employees and their partners participated in the survey for years 2016, 2013,2010,2007. From the graph, it is clear that there has been a slight increment in 2016 from the target employees while the global BM company percentage decreased significantly which is a similar value for the ME BM company which has a slight increase in a similar manner. The EDC employees demonstrate that the four years had a similar trend (Chen & Huang, 2009). This is an indication that the average percentage accrued is between 80% to 90%. Also, there is an indication that the employee’s percentage whom they are proud of working with the EDC is significantly enormous (Guest, 2011).
In the second graph, the satisfaction survey included questions that related to aspects of HR and administration (Briscoe et al., 2012). The services of focus included the travel, accommodation, housekeeping and the social and welfare. From the graph, it is evident that several responses and the target were used. It demonstrated that in the Year 2011 to 2016, there had been a significant increase between the year 2015 and 2016. This is from the dramatic increase of the satisfied employees from 854 to 1170. This is an appropriate result as it is significantly above the set target of the research. The third bar graph is used in explaining the communication effectiveness.
