  1. Possible negative consequences of the entrepreneur’s strong internal locus of control

According to Asante and Affum-Osei (2019) the possessing of strong internal locus of control is instrumental for entrepreneurs success in their operations. In the classroom sessions, it was noted that locus of control is applied in identifying the believes which a person possess of directly controlling their future and current for themselves and others. In my experience working in the healthcare sector in a managerial position, it is clear that those lacking a locus of control are hindered from being successful in their operations. According to Max et al. (2018) the existence of the direct locus of control is evidenced as being directly correlated with their performance to achieve their roles with enormous success in their operations. The rationale of this is appropriate positioning in noting their weak areas, improvement practices and how decisions are made. The effectiveness of this is ensuring internal locus of control being holistically integrated.

There are negative consequences of this which include dominance to the other members in an organisation. This lead to negative feeling of alienation, demotivation hence lowered productivity. This is since such employees are hesitant to work in active collaboration with the rest in controlling their operations and activities.  

  • Personal relationships contribution positively to firm’s entrepreneurial transformation

As evidenced in Bizhanova et al. (2019), the personal relationships entail how people demonstrate good behaviour in working with others effectively. This is while eliminating the entire barriers or hindrances towards successfully embracing a business orientation which is positive. The findings are affirmed by Dana et al. (2019) which identify the personal relationships as influencing collaboration increase among the different stakeholders hence improving the transformation. Similarly,……..
