Concept and Importance of CPD as an HR Practitioner
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is identified as a process where individuals assume control of their learning and development process. As an HR practitioner, I understand that this is attained by participating in a progressive process of reflection and active practice. I also understand that this leads to successful engagement that can manipulate people in achieving their overall set goals. As an HR practitioner, CPD guides me in understanding my roles, skills, and knowledge that guides me in developing capabilities of attaining set goals, engaging in short and long training sessions, workshops, online learning programs, conferences, and events. The outcome of these activities improves performance, high-level motivation, and loyalty of all involved team works.
