(Solution) 3C001 organisations are whole systems, and how work and actions as a people professional could impact elsewhere in the organisation. (AC2.2)

Solution

As evidenced in CIPD (2020), the organisation design theory identify organisations as a system, holistically linked initiatives eliciting specific outcomes.  This is supported by Holonic Enterprise Model which evidence flexible view of members being autonomous albeit co-ordinated and collaborative operations in time-bound objectives/projects (see figure 4).

Figure 4: Organisation System described by Holonic Enterprise Model

As evidenced in figure 4, an organisation is inclusive of a set of input, processes, output and outcomes with progressive feedback sourced from different areas.

The works and actions of people professionals have a direct impact on the other areas of organisation. For instance, through offering training and development strategies such as in health, technical teams and admin in MNGHA organisation hence attaining important skills and knowledge. The outcome of this is an effective implementation of their roles based on existing standards specifically on the quality of care offered.

Further, considering MNGHA organisation, during recruitment, employees ought to go through a mandatory Saudi Career Development Program (SCDP) intended to promote their understanding on Saudisation policy. Hence, such a program facilitated by people practice professionals ensure that they leverage on competitive advantage and dominate their market. Also, as successful operations of people practice professionals, they make sure they are merging overall skills, behavioural practice and culture with leadership and management working in synch. The outcome of this is attainment of long-term organisation goals and also leadership. A success in aligning the different aspects have a direct implication on improving on success of realising overall goals and objectives with business performance in MNGHA harnessed holistically. MNGHA has hence as an organisation been ranked as the best healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia (KSA) managing in provision of their operations and best practice.
