Solution

(AC1.4) Assess the scale of technology within organisations and how it impacts work. Short references should be added into your narrative below. Please remember to only list your long references in the reference box provided at the end of this section.   Word count: Approximately 350 words
The identified AI technologies examples include;
AI Predictive Analytics used in Talents Acquisition
This is a type of AI which is used to guide talent acquisition process. According to CIPD (2025), the application of this AI strategy is streamlining the resourcing strategy in an organisation. For ADNOC, this is embraced through an analysis of immense data from different candidates for identifying most qualified talents.
The effectiveness of the technology is referencing to history of employment, CV’s details and psychometric tests for identifying their appropriateness in executing their assigned functions in a job role/responsibility (CIPD, 2025).
Benefits– The application of this AI type is lowering amount of time used to short list qualified applicants, mitigating any form of bias and promoting likelihood to recruit appropriate individuals.
Risks– This has a potential of overlooking talents possessing softer skills/ non-technical candidates. These are identifying as not fit for specific job roles despite of their appropriateness in a newly established job role and creativity.
Use– The outcome of embracing predictive analysis is for selecting and recruiting best qualified staff hence reduction of instances of recruiting inappropriate employees. For ADNOC case, operating internationally, use of the tool is effective in sourcing skilled staff for particular job roles (CIPD, 2024b).
Impact on Working Practices– In regard to the embrace of the AI predictive analytics in recruitment, it lead to revolutionalisation of screening process for right candidates. Also, it assumes immense human interference in the process of resourcing (CIPD, 2024c). The outcome of this is decreasing number of recruiters, shortening filling timeline and increasing understanding on workforce population features.
AI Powered Virtual Training Assistants
For this type of AI, it is used in facilitating on-demand facilitation of learning process, assisting staff in accessing training materials, simulating and timely feedback sourced. The assistants have a potential of embracing Natural Language Process identified by CIPD (2024c) to allow their users in posing questions and recommending appropriate training strategies. The relevance of embrace of the AI virtual training assistants outcome is ensuring success and inclusivity achieved.  Further, using this AI strategy lead to entire stakeholders engagement in achieving set goals. The predictive analytics guide implementation of learning and development process. This is essential for successful implementation. According to CIPD (2024c), the entire stakeholders are brought together for working collaboratively for maximum satisfaction.
Benefits-The application of the AI example is engaging all staff holistically. They are engaged in the path of improving their learning development and empowering people for individualised growth depending on their capability.
Risks– Relying on the virtual training could be undermining scope of being cooperative and collaboration level of learning strategy. This is since it is not effective n management of human-based challenges.
Uses– The AI Powered Virtual Training Assistants are used in assisting acceleration of acquisition of new technologies and regulations through providing just-in-time training successfully.
Impact on Working Practices– The rationale of embracing the AI is successfully redesigning the organisation strategy for training. This is done in episodic workshops for a constant existence with just-in-time strategy in place. Further, a progressive L&D is offered enhancing how flexible the employees are in their operations.
