The employee selection process has a significant impact on ADNOC organisation cultural practices. According to Liu et al. (2022), this is to shape values, set norm and business sector. The extent in which a selected candidate is of high quality end up nurturing organisation culture to be informed by excelling, safe and tech savvy.
Impact and Benefits Cultural Fitness– As part of employees selection, strategic sourcing lead to organisation to succeed in guaranteeing their alignment with an entity objectives and working with appropriate corporate culture (Chandler & Krajcsák, 2021). For instance, selection of employees caring for economic wellbeing ensure priority of an organisation is being reliable and avoiding all financial risks.
Diversity and innovation– The selection strategy make sure diversity enhance embrace on technology and innovativeness. An effective selection means individuals from diverse backgrounds are engaged contributing to varying ideas to an entity.
Negatives Stagnated organisation culture– Putting immense emphasis on the cultural fitness end up limiting scope of diversity and suppressing fresh ideas. The outcome of this is stagnating organisation culture slow to embrace change (Neville & Schneider, 2021).

According to CIPD (2024d), this is while delivering assigned functions in a business.
Negatives
Emerging conflicts-  Conflicts emerge in an event group dynamics of selected staff fail in working in collaboration. The negative implication of this is reduced performance and efficiencies.
Increased turnover– Ineffective selection of the employees imply they are not fit or lack of appreciation hence less loyalty and increased turnover hence inappropriate organisation stability in long-term. In summary, the selection of employees appropriately lead to an increased interaction, communication effectiveness and performance increase. The inappropriate selection lead to challenges with synergy, organisation performance and lacking teamwork.
