Business Research in People Practice Impact of Training and Development on the Improvement of Employee Performance in the IT sector of Saudi Arabia
The prime purpose of this project is to evaluate the impact of training and development on the improvement of employee performance Through a focus on IT sector in Saudi Arabia (KSA), the link of capacity development of employees with an improved performance would be evaluated. This is supported by Ukandu and Ukpere (2013) report findings which noted that organisations offering training and development programs have 218% increased income. This is with 24% increase in profitability and market dominance. This is a significantly important area for Wipro organisation.
For resources, hard and soft would be demanded. For instance, Stachová et al. (2019) report had noted that 60% of employees noted as lacking workplace training and majority of their skills being self-taught. This is with 74% noting their will to acquire new skills/re-training for maintaining their employability. The hard resources would include finances, expertise in identified research area and use of physical library. Soft resources would on the other hand entail internet platforms, journal article, webpages and media. An approximately 6 moths (see GANTT Chart in Appendix 1).
