Assessment 1:
Scoping Study
Based on a process of gathering and interpreting preliminary information. This needs to provide the mapping/summarisation of a full range of evidence to describe the breadth/depth of the chosen field of research.
Marking Criteria
4,000 words. Worth 60% of theoverall mark. The essay should provide a clear description of a scoping study, which should include the following aspects: identification of the research questions, identification of relevant literature (and how this is done), selection of literature, description of the data, and reporting/summarisation of the data.

1.0 Introduction
In modern business practices, innovation is the fundamental aspect of organizations output and productivity. Additionally, as a contemporary practice, the broad perspective of innovation has increased the level of interest among diverse groups of people across different sectors. The sectors include business executives, policymakers, and public managers. In one of the study, Roper and Arvanitis (2012) demonstrated that in the private sector, the added value of innovation legitimacy is founded on the view that innovation facilitates sourcing profits and as such positively contributing to the companies leveraging from a competitive advantage. This is contrary to the public sector as it is characterized by an increasing number of people embracing the idea that innovation could make significant contributions in increasing the progress of services delivery and problem-solving capacities. This has prompted the increase in the number of systematic reviews reporting on the innovation challenges affecting a successful implementation in the global and UAE public sector. In the current area of study, the already available sources include systematic review, meta-analysis, rapid review, literature review (traditional), research synthesis and structured review. In this case, the scoping study is adopted as a technique for mapping relevant literature in the field of interest. To enhance an elaborate scoping study description, different aspects have been prioritized. They include the identification of the research questions, identification of relevant literature, selection of literature, classification of the data, and reporting/summarization of the data. Through this, it is possible to map the fundamental concepts that underpin a research area and the primary sources and types of evidence available.
2.0 Identification of Research Questions
According to Alvesson and Sandberg (2011), to be in a position of obtaining a successful review of any research, it is essential to formulate a well-constructed research question. This can fundamentally be achieved through the drafting different research questions prior selecting the form of knowledge synthesis to be conducted. In scoping review, the selected research questions intend to answer more significant and more complex exploratory research questions. In this case, the selected research questions include;………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Please contact our team to receive guidance, support and tutorial services on this assessment in full based on your selected topic of study
